Maudsley Charity Grants

We are pleased to announce a new Open Grants round, inviting applications for projects that support one or more of the Charity’s strategic priorities, with a particular emphasis on the first two:

  • Recovery, self-management and support to stay well
  • Improved experience of care – that provided by SLaM and its partners (where related to mental health)
  • (Growth and spread of knowledge and understanding which will impact future care and prevention).

We encourage all applicants to discuss their proposals with us at an early stage – we are happy to provide advice and support throughout the application process. Please contact Juliet Barnett as soon as possible on 07787 124647 or to make an appointment for a face-to-face or telephone meeting to discuss your proposal with Dr David Blazey, Head of Grants.

This is a limited call, with an expectation that projects will keep within a maximum allocation of £50,000. We may be able to accommodate one or two larger projects up to £100,000 but these will be exceptional and you should discuss your proposal for a larger grant with us in some detail before submitting an application.

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently not accepting funding applications for research projects.

Please use our new application form

The Guidance for Grant Applicants here provide some basic information about our funding and processes.

The deadline for applications is 26 September 2016.
