Sara is currently CEO of Redwood, the UK’s leading content agency, which produces specialist marketing communications in 80 countries and 27 languages. She joined Redwood in 2008 as Editorial Director, having had a successful career as an award-winning magazine journalist and editor. She has worked for a range of companies including BBC Worldwide, EMAP and Haymarket and edited national titles such as New Woman, eve and Men’s Health.
Over the last five years Sara has led Redwood’s creative and commercial transformation from a print business to a digital agency. She has developed communication strategies and content for a wide portfolio of blue chip national and international organisations such as M&S, Virgin Media, Barclays, Akzo Nobel and Volvo.
Sara has lectured widely and was a visiting Professor of Journalism at Southampton Solent University for four years. She has more recently been speaking publicly on mental health in the workplace for campaigns such as Minds at Work and the Not a Red Card campaign.
