Free Wills Service

As members of the National Free Wills Network we are pleased to be able to offer any supporter aged over 50 the opportunity to have a simple will written, or have a current will amended, by a qualified solicitor for FREE.

How it works

  1. Simply complete the below form with your details.
  2. We will pass your request to our partner the National Free Wills Network who will send you all the information you need including a list of solicitors, local to you, who are part of the Network.
  3. You then have 90 days make an appointment with your chosen solicitor who will write your will in the normal way.
  4. Once complete, we pay the solicitor on your behalf at a discounted rate.

There is no obligation to leave a gift in your will to Maudsley Charity
but it would be wonderful if you choose to do so.

If you do choose to leave a gift in your will to Maudsley Charity, we will write to you to thank you for your support.

Please note that this offer applies to simple wills. If the solicitor advises that your will is more complicated, for example, you have property abroad or would like to set up a discretionary trust, you may need to pay for any additional work carried out. If your will does require additional work, you are free to decide at this point if you wish to proceed with this service.
